Health Reform-related proposed Constitutional amendment introduced

Senator Seward, former chair and current ranking member of the Senate Insurance Committee, has introduced a proposed Constitutional amendment directed at insurance mandate provisions in the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). The bill, S. 7374, is relation to "preserving the freedom of New Yorkers to provide their health care."
