New NYLJ Article: "State's New Council On Public Health and Planning"

Section Member Frank Serbaroli, with the New York office of Greenberg Traurig, writes a regular "Expert Analysis" column for the New York Law Journal. The latest article, "State's New Council On Public Health and Planning," appears in the July 27, 2010 edition of the Journal:

Out of the budget battles taking place in Albany has emerged historic legislation(1) that combines two powerful health care regulatory councils into one. As of Dec. 1, 2010, the 50-year-old State Hospital Review and Planning Council (SHRPC) and the nearly century-old Public Health Council (PHC) will be combined into what will be known as the Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC). (1) New York State Senate 6608-B; Assembly 9708-c; Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2010, signed July 2, 2010.
